Dr. Quam serves in student ministry at North-West University in Mahikeng, South Africa. She is primarily teaching final year Animal Health Technician students in the practical aspects veterinary medicine, but is also involved in lecturing, vaccine outreaches in local communities, and mentoring new veterinary graduates.
In addition to ministering though veterinary medicine, Dr. Quam serves alongside two other missionaries on campus in leading a ladies Bible study and witnessing program for students. Through the students in the witnessing group, the goal is to share the gospel with all first-year students on campus each year. The witnessing students are also given opportunity to step out in faith by traveling to nearby towns and countries to share the gospel.
